    Expertise

    Our ‘traditional’ range of homes incorporate the following elements:

    • Standard anti-termite treatment;
    • Foundations: 40 x 80 cm;
    • Base composed of 2 rows of concrete blocks and 1 row below ground level;
    • Hollow block flooring (thermal conductivity value = 0.23 for the living areas), 12 cm thick reinforced concrete slabs on stone sub-base for the garage,
    • External walls in 20 cm heavy clay brick with vertical stiffeners and horizontal wall ties (Height of levelling course: 2.8 m ) ;
    • Timber frame truss system, 2, 4 or multiple-sided roof 
    • 30 cm eaves,  fascia board and soffit in wood;
    • Heavy clay tiles (ridge tile set in mortar) +  ‘curved’ verge tiles;
    • Gutters and downpipes in lacquered aluminium;
    • Spray rendered, non-smooth rendering;
    • Traditional PVC window and door fittings with straight lintels; 4/16/4 low emissivity double glazing;
    • Insulated aluminium rolling shutters, automatic locking, manually-operated, housed in a rolling shutter box ;
    • Class B metal front door, (maximum heat loss coefficient: 1.6) ;
    • Straight solid bar anti-intruder window fitting;
    • Metal up and over garage door (ready to be fitted electric motor mechanism)
    • Engraved details on interior doors (83 x 205), pre-finished with brushed stainless steel handle;
    • Calibel dry lining, 100mm glass wool (fibreglass)+ 10mm plasterboard;
    • 72mm Placostyl with PAR 45mm glass wool internal partition walls, 45g glass wool-insulated partition wall for unheated box room/storage area, insulated partition wall and moisture resistant board for the bathroom
    • Ceiling in BA 13 plasterboard;
    • Attic space insulation using blown-in glass wool (fibreglass) to a depth of 27.5cm (R-value – 6);
    • electricity and electrical heating systems comply with standard RT 2005, high efficiency, electronically commutated motor-driven extraction system (or similar system), superior quality heated towel rail in bathroom;
    • 300 litre electric hot water tank;
    • white bathroom suite (a selection of other colours is also available), chosen from our range: walk-in shower, cabinet-mounted sink unit and wash-hand basin, toilet;
    • Top quality stoneware tiles (hardness rating/PEI 4 or 5) in all habitable rooms (except for bedrooms, where a smooth concrete screed is installed), using the parallel installation method;
    • 15 m² of earthenware tiling;
    • Chimney stack.

    Our different house models are also available in "Low energy consumption" and "Premium" versions.

    Our houses are suitable for all types of products and in the case of "Low energy consumption" models, comply with RT 2005 and 2012.
